What Is The Cost?
We implement a Cat Rescue Contribution for each visitor at £6.00 per Adult and £6.00 per Child per visit. This goes towards the day to day costs involved in rescuing our feline friends. (For more information click the Cat Rescue tab above) Food and drink is billed at the end of your visit and is reasonably priced. You will be presented with your bill ten minutes before your exit time. Our Afternoon Tea experience includes the Cat Rescue Contribution and 2 hours of time at the café for £30 per person.
Do I Have To Book In Advance?
The café is primarily bookings only, however, you’re more than welcome to phone and check for available slots on the day but we suggest booking in advance to avoid disappointment. This is to regulate all customers coming in and out of the café at all times for the safety of the cats.
Can I Bring My Cat?
No unfortunately not, this is home to our resident cats only.
Can I Bring My Dog?
As much as we all love dogs, We cannot allow any dogs into the Cafe.
Why Should I Visit A Cat Café?
This is not just a sanctuary for cats, but for people too. We know that life can be tough sometimes, so we are truly dedicated to making the happiest place in Hampshire for our customers; a warm, exciting, crazy, loving environment for everyone. We are passionate about Animal Therapy and it has been proving that spending time with cats not only reduces your heart rate and blood pressure but is good for mental health. We know the positive impact our Cat Café will have on the lives of so many people. Cats do not discriminate on age, sex, physical ability, race, beliefs, or any of that stuff, they just want to share their love with everyone.
How Do You Stop The Cats From Escaping?
We operate a double door system, which has a security release on them so one cannot be opened without the other being shut.
Are The Cats Kept In Cages Or Left On Their Own Overnight?
No. Our cats are never kept in cages. The café is their home. Much as you would never put your pet cat in a cage at home, we won’t be putting our cats in cages at Cat Café.
At night there is a member of staff on duty to clean and maintain the café as well as giving the cats some much needed one on one attention if need be. They are never on their own.

Where Do You Get Your Cats From?
Our resident cats were rescued from various backgrounds. We rescue stray cats and help find them new forever homes and help to rehome cats who unfortunately are unable to stay with their current owners.
Are You Helping Cats?
Absolutely! Although we do not directly operate as a rehoming centre, Cat Café's support local animal charities by running special events to raise money and awareness. Our strong social media presence is used to advertise local rescue cats and kittens who desperately need a forever home. We also take in donations for our local charities such as food, litter and toys.
How Do You Ensure The Cats Are Happy & Healthy?
We have a set of Cat Care Rules, which apply to all guests and are strictly applied in the interest and safety of all our cats. Should these rules be disregarded in anyway we have the right to politely ask you to leave and future re-admittance refused. We also limit the capacity of our cafes to ensure the cats are not overcrowded.
Our cats will have regular health checks and with our in house cat behaviourist, behavioural studies will also be carried out regularly on each cat to ensure their behaviour in the café demonstrates that of a happy and relaxed cat .
Most importantly, we do not force our cats to be in the café area. When the cats are in the café area they are there out of choice.
